I have probably owned sets from almost every major drum manufacturer, and several minor ones. My first kit was a red sparkle set of Apollo drums, and since then I've owned several Ludwig kits, a couple Slingerland sets, one Rogers kit, a few Pearl sets, a Mapex kit, two Tama kits and at least three Gretsch kits. I've also had several electronic kits including Simmons, a Yamaha DTXpress and an Alesis D-4 with Roland pads.
As far as cymbals go, I've owned old Turkish K. Zildjians, American Zildjians, Paistes, Sabians, Saludas and others. I like finding off-brand cymbals on eBay and experimenting with them for new and different sounds.
I swap equipment constantly. I'm a total equipment whore, and you never know what I'll show up at the gig with. Right now my current setup is a Gretsch Catalina maple kit with a combination of different brands of cymbals, subject to change without notice. See my photo gallery for some of my past drumsets.
I have a Audix D6 kick mic and a set of Samson drum mics -- cheap, but they work, and a Behringer mixer.

My current gigging kit includes this Gretsch Catalina maple 6-piece kit. |

My second kit, currently, is a Pearl Vision Series 5-piece with 22-16-13-12 configuration. I have three snares, the Gretsch that came with the above kit, a Pearl Sensitone that came with this one, and an Ahead Brass 6" deep model, my main snare. |
| My constantly-evolving cymbal lineup includes 14" Paiste Sound Formula hihats, 14" Zildjian NewBeat hihats, a 20" Paiste Signature ride, 18" Sabian Hand-hammered crash, two 14", a 16" and a 10" Zildjian crash/splashes, a Bosphorus 16" crash and a weird old Krut 14" crash. |
